To
Commemrate the occasion of the Martyrdom of the Commander
of the Faithful, Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS), from the
14th of Ramadhan to the 18rd, a nightly majlis was held
at Gladstone Park Primary School by the Foundation.

During
the holy month of Muharram, Alulbayt (AS) Foundation
held Majalis in English at Gladstone Park Primary School.
Sayyid Mustafa Al-Qazwini delivered inspiring lectures
to the audience, followed by Usama Al-Attar's moving
poetry and lamentation. The programme was held for 11
nights, with the Tragedy of Al-Hussain (Al-Maqtal) read
on Ashura day. The success of the programme continued
in the light of the Ramadhan and Muharram Majalis of
previous years.

the Day of the Third Fatimiyyah, 3rd Jamadi Al-Thani,
a programme was held at Alulbayt (AS) Foundation for
the rememberance of the Martyrdom of Fatimah Al-Zahra
(AS). Hajj Mohammed Mahdi talked about the rank of
Fatimah (AS) in the eyes of Allah (SWT). |

Following
on from the tragic events of Ashura, a Majlis was held
at the Foundation in rememberance of the Arba'een of
Imam Hussain (AS). Sayyid Haidar Bahralaloom gave an
account of the day of 20th Safar which was followed
by Ziyarat Al-Arba'een and the recitation of poetry. |

Lessons
in Imamate by Shaykh Hussain Al-Asadi |

A
series of lessons was delivered over a week by Shaykh
Hussain Al-Asadi on the topic of Imamate. This included
a detailed analysis of the hadiths relating to the
wilayah of the Ahlulbayt and their implications for
the Muslim nation. |

programme consisted of lectures by Hasanain Rajabali and
Haidar Bahralaloom, eulogies by Mulla Mustafa Al-Naeb and
the recitation of duas and ziyarahs. |

three day majlis in Willesden Library. The foundation was
fortunate enough to invite Sayed Haidar Bahruloom who
resides in Michigan, America. In his lectures he looked upon
the purpose of life as his main theme and thus covering
different social problems within our communities. |

On the occasion of the
martyrdom of the imprisoned Imam, Imam Musa ibn Jaffar Al-Kadhim
(AS), Alulbayt (AS) Foundation held a Majlis to commemorate
the tragic event. The programme included ziyarat of Imam Al-Kadhim
(AS) and lectures on his life and its relevance to us today,
also looking at different aspects of his life be it social,
political or even intellectual . Alulbayt (AS) foundation
also compiled a booklet on the life of Imam Al-Kadhim (AS)
that was given out at the end of the programme.

Alulbayt
(AS) Foundation London, arranged a series of lectures
on the concept of Imamah, commemorating forty days
after the martyrdom of the master of the youth
of paradise Imam Al-Hussain (AS). The lectures
were recited by Sheikh Mustafa Jaffar on the 23rd
of April to the 26th of April 2003.

Alulbayt
(AS) Foundation held a special Muharram conference
on the theme "The
Purpose of Life". The speakers on the occasion were the
highly acclaimed Dr Murtadha Alidina and the honourable
Sayed Mahdi Al-Modarresi. Dr Alidina talked about "Our
link to the creator" mentioning the importance of
monotheism and worship and how the Infallible Imams (AS),
with Al-Mahdi (AF) in particular, provide the directions
with which we can establish a personal relationship with
Allah (SWT). Sayed Al-Modarresi spoke about "Our duties" and
how we should go about fulfilling them as young Muslims
living in the West. |

the occasion of the martyrdom of the Master of
Martyrs, Al Imam Al Hussain (AS), Alulbayt
(AS) Foundation held a Majlis to commemorate the
tragic event of Karbala. The Majlis was held at
Brondesbury Park Hotel, North London, were the
Honourable Sayed Mahdi Al-Modarresi gave his lectures
to the masses. The dedication of the believers
to the Ahlulbayt (AS) was clearly evident, as each
night the hotel grounds were heavily overcrowded. |
