Specialized Fiqh and Osoul Library

Inauguration of this library took place on 20th of Jamadi Al-Thani 1420 A.H. on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Fatima-tu-Zahra, the daughter of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). This library, which is being run and financed by the office of Ayatollah Uzma Sistani (may Allah protect him), serves to fulfill the following needs:
1. Connection with Internet.
2. Establishing a religious law data bank.
3. Publishing fiqh (jurisprudence) and osoul (principles) books.
4. Printing and publishing unpublished fiqh and osoul articles.
The library contains more than 19000 books. Indexes of 7400 of them have been prepared. This is in addition to specialized magazines and periodicals which number at least 1580.
